A Medical Assistant training program prepares students for entry level healthcare jobs by teaching clinical and administrative skills used in medical offices, clinics, and urgent care centers.

Medical Assistants are not state licensed in Florida. Most employers require completion of a formal training program and may prefer nationally certified candidates.

Yes. Our Medical Assistant program prepares eligible graduates to sit for nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification exams. You can also become NHA and / or MEDCA certified at Neo Academy. 

Students receive hands-on training in medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, vital signs, phlebotomy, EKG, clinical assisting, infection control, medical records, patient care, and healthcare compliance.
Program length varies by schedule. Most students complete the Medical Assistant training program in a few months.
