A Laser Electrology license in Florida allows you to legally perform laser hair removal and light-based hair reduction procedures under Florida law. Licensing is regulated by the Florida Department of Health.

Florida requires 320 clock hours of approved laser electrology training to qualify for licensure.

The program includes both theory and hands-on training covering laser physics, safety and infection control, skin typing, hair growth cycles, laser and light-based devices, client consultation, treatment protocols, and Florida laws and rules.
Program length depends on the student’s schedule. Most students complete the program within 4 months with consistent attendance.

Licensed Laser Electrologists may work in medical spas, dermatology offices, laser clinics, wellness centers, or operate their own business where permitted by law.

After completing the program and passing the exam, we assist graduates with the Florida Department of Health licensure application process.
